The Principles of NASA Workers

Members of NASA Workers are committed to the values of Pan-African ideals and emancipatory economic theories, including Marxist Labor Theory. We are dedicated to promoting sustainable institutions that respect both humanity and the environment. We pledge to fight relentlessly against the exploitation and oppression of the working class and to foster unity within the working class both locally and internationally.

Our struggle is based on the following principles:

  1. Class alone is no longer an adequate description of the toiling masses under colonial, racial, gender, and digital exploitative global capitalism.
  2. Since capital is transnational, labor mobilization must consider the transnational nature of its members and multinational corporations.
  3. Modern labor formations must serve as schools for understanding global capitalism and its racial, patriarchal, sexist, and colonial modes of operation.
  4. The resurgent decolonial movements must be integrated into labor formations and analysis.
